Falling is the main cause of fatalities in the construction industry. The workplace must be set up to prevent workers from falling off of structures or holes. Fall protection is required when working at a height of 6 feet or more in the construction industry. Methods used to prevent falls are guardrails, safety nets, or a personal fall arrest system.
